Lady & The Tramp
The film opens on a panoramic view of a quaint New England town in the early part of the century during a snowfall. Darling (the human heroine) opens her Christmas package to find a female puppy inside, a gift from her husband Jim Dear. They named her Lady, and in a filmic transition we see her grow up.
She lives in an exclusive section of town with canine friends Jock (a Scottish terrier) abd Trusty (a basset hound devoid of the sense of smell) on the same block. When they chance to encounter a dog from the wrong side of the tracks (Tramp), they treat hime with disdain.

101 Dalmatians
101 Dalmatians is Disney in his element, a thoroughly delightful film that many considered to be his best animated feature in years. Unlike some of his 1950s endeavors, this cartoon is not weighted down by attempts to duplicate reality. In fact, it revels in the stylistic exaggeration of reality, best exemplified by the character of Cruella de Ville.
